Synopsis:
This documentary tells the story of young, female, Latina artist named Daniela Cárdenas-Riumalló. Daniela grew up in Santiago, Chile for half of her life. The Cardenas-Riumalló won a diversity visa in 2002 and the family of five left Chile immigrating to Springfield, Oregon. The film touches on the struggle of learning a new language and forming a bicultural identity as a young person in the United States.

Andrea Seider is majoring in Anthropology and has strong interest in film editing.

Este documental relata la historia de una mujer joven y artista Latina llamada Daniela Cárdenas-Riumalló que creció en Santiago, Chile. En el 2002, la familia Cárdenas-Riumalló se ganó una visa de diversidad y emigraron de Chile a Springfield, Oregón. El documental cuenta sobre la lucha de aprender un nuevo idioma y del desarrollo de una identidad bicultural.
