Exhibition Panels

The Latino Roots in Oregon Exhibit was created in 2009 for Oregon’s sesquicentennial anniversary. Back then, 15 wooden portable panels were on display for a year at the Lane County Historical Museum as part of the Changing Demographics: The People of Lane County exhibition.  Since then, the exhibit has traveled throughout the state to other Historical Museums, middle and high schools, non-profit organizations, community events, and other.

Currently, the exhibit has five sets of 20 light weight portable panels. Each panel documents the stories of Latino Oregonians and the diverse Latino experience in our state. All panels are bilingual (English-Spanish). The physical exhibit can be booked for exhibitions by contacting cllas@uoregon.edu, and if you prefer to print your own panels feel free to download them from this page.
