Synopsis:
Byron describes his own story of being a poor Guatemalan child and his trajectory to the United States. Byron interviews his parents who describe how his mother and siblings were deported to Guatemala while they were in the process of filing for residency. Byron’s father fought to reunite the family, and four years later they received a pardon and were reunited in Oregon.

Byron describe su historia de como creció siendo pobre en Guatemala y su trayectoria hacia los Estados Unidos. Byron entrevista a sus padres quienes describen como su mamá y sus hermanos fueron deportados a Guatemala mientras tramitaban su residencia. El papá de Byron lucho por su familia, y cuatro años después, recibieron un perdón del gobierno para reunir a la familia en Oregón.
